Two decades ago Chris arrived in London on a one-way ticket with $200 dollars in his pocket. Sleeping on a friend’s sofa, it wasn’t long before he overstayed his welcome. He desperately needed a place to live and a job.
Within a week he was selling advertising for a fledgling internet start-up. It was the birth of the internet and the beginnings of a career in sales and he never looked back.
Over the next 20 years Chris gained experience selling advertising, cars, computer hardware, software and services with hundreds of sales wins totaling tens of millions of dollars.
In his 20 year sales career Chris worked for global consultancy firm Accenture, two technology startups and two global software vendors Oracle and New Relic.
He has been a revenue generating machine over two decades, learning from the best and continually refining his craft in complex B2B sales.
As Chris continued to eclipse targets, friends and colleagues would approach him for sales coaching and advice. It was at this point that he formed the idea that sales is not dependent on natural born talent. Instead, sales can be learnt.
He realized that if his tips, tactics and sales strategies are applied with grit and perseverance anyone can enjoy the lifestyle they want and be at the very top of their profession.
Chris has now trained and mentored hundreds of salespeople in the art and science of sales and has been called upon to define and lead sales strategy for a global software vendor. Amongst other successes, his selling methods contributed to a company wide transformation that resulted in a 50% drop in customer attrition and a return to growth from shrinking revenues in just 6 months.
